This coming Sunday 15th October will mark the 40th running of the Melbourne Marathon. Over 30,000 people are expected to take part in the Marathon Festival with distances including 3km, 5km, 10km, 21km and the full 42km marathon.
The Melbourne Marathon is a fantastic event with a course covering many of Melbourne’s best-known sights. Rich from the TripFit team ran the marathon on a beautiful, sunny day a couple of years back and enjoyed every minute, although he couldn’t walk for a few days afterwards.
Have you ever considered training for a marathon? It’s requires a huge amount of effort and commitment but it’s definitely worth it for what is an unforgettable experience and a wonderful achievement.
