We pick you up in Melbourne CBD, hitting the road bright and early to beat the masses. The Great Ocean Road is a truly spectacular drive and is worth the trip in itself: beautiful rainforest, rolling hills and more beaches than you can poke a stick at. From the window of our comfortable van you’ll witness the immense power of the southern ocean and you’ll understand why this is called the Shipwreck Coast.
The 12 Apostles are Melbourne’s premier tourist attraction but not many get to experience hiking the last few kilometres by foot. We’ll set off from Princetown and make our way along the Great Ocean Walk. You’ll never forget the first moment you the 12 Apostles appear before you: giant stone monoliths, carved by the raging ocean over millions of years. This is pretty much pretty much the photo opportunity of a lifetime!
After a bite to eat we’ll check out some of the famous beaches along this stretch of coastline and of course we’ll stop for a swim if the weather’s good.
This area is also well known for its koala population so we’ll stop and say hi to these furry cuties – an essential experience for any visitor to our shores.
If you’re looking for relaxing things to do in Melbourne, you’ve come to the wrong place. From coastal hiking to mountain biking, and sea kayaking to finish off the day, Mornington Peninsula Coastal Active Adventures pack more punch than a Schwarzenegger film.
