We pick you up in Melbourne city and make our way to our first destination – Cape Schanck. We’ll check out some spectacular coastal scenery and then walk among the wild kangaroos that call this area home. It’s pretty rare to find kangaroos this close to Melbourne but there are heaps in this area so we’re guaranteed to see them hopping around every time.
Continuing the pastoral theme, next we’ll head to the world famous natural hot springs for a couple of hours of relaxation in this stunning, tranquil setting. This is an awesome spot where you can check out one of the many pools, the sauna, the ice cave (best enjoyed after the sauna!) or the Turkish hammam.
After a bite to eat at one of the peninsula’s best cafes, we’ll head to one of the fantastic wineries this area is known for. The Mornington Peninsula is one of Australia’s premier wine growing regions and you’ll sample some of the best. Coffee and greats views are also on offer for those who aren’t into wine.
We kick off the day with a hike in Sherbrooke Forest and a walk in the Redwood Forest near Warburton. By this point, let’s face it, you deserve to relax – so the rest of the afternoon is spent indulging in the best food, wine and scenery around.
