After a Melbourne city pick up, you get to know your fellow TripFitters and friendly adventure tour guide on the road to Phillip Island. We’ll stop for a quick coffee before heading to Cape Woolamai where we hike our way through the national park and across two beaches, circumnavigating the cape. As we walk, keep your eyes open for kangaroos, koalas, wallabies, wombats, echidnas and native birds. You’ll see why this is one of Australia’s premier coastal hikes.
We’ll also stop to check out the surfers at the world famous Woolamai beach.
We’ll grab some lunch at one of the island’s top eateries before heading to meet Australia’s most famous resident: the koala. They are just as cute in real life and you’ll get up close and personal in the dedicated koala conservation area on Phillip Island. Part of your fee will contribute to protection of these precious creatures.
